Last Craft of November!

So, I have been super enjoying Instagram lately. I feel like I have FINALLY figured out hashtags! (I turned 30 in September, but I feel double that age when it comes to some new fangled apps, please tell me I am NOT the only one!).

Instagram has been feeding my fuel for planners. Planners are IN. I got obsessed with planners earlier in the year as I stumbled across Jennifer's blog, http://www.mypurpleylife.com/ (check out her blog, her pages are soooo fancy). I have been dying to get my hands on a filofax, then Erin Condron planners. I can't afford such a luxury right now, but thank goodness for Instagram's planner hashtags!  #filo #planner #EC #planneraddict #plannerlove

Because I can't afford a FANCY-DANCY planner, I decided to make my own using my NEW toy, We R Memory Keeper's The Cinch 2.

I got it on sale from scrapbook.com

So, using Microsoft Publisher I created my own planner. Here's some photos. (You'll see in the inside starting next month)

Love Owlies- so cute!
Anyhow, this was my first project and I messed up the back cover, boo! But, I made it do. (as I didn't have any more of the cute kraft paper with the circles and hearts). After the planner was made and I used it for a few weeks, I realized I need pockets to hold all the bits of papers I carry around! I used a recycled envelope to create a pocket for the back cover. I used Crushin' Gwen by Some Odd Girl and a star from the Angel Gwen. I used earth tone copics and brown/town memento inks.

I love my cute little pocket. I have never used all one tone for coloring before and I love how she came out. I do need to get some brown copic multi-liners for details. Anyway, it was a great month. I am looking forward to tomorrow, not only a new month, but I get to teach my card making class at the library tomorrow. Always a fun time. Tomorrow's class is tags.
